Located atop a hill, about 2.5 kilometers from the Vaishno Devi Temple, Bhairon Temple is another significant pilgrimage site in Katra. The temple is dedicated to Bhairon Nath, who, according to mythology, was pursuing Vaishno Devi when she took refuge in the cave.
